Lauren at seven months old. At the time, she was still in size 1 diapers, a 3 month dress, and newborn size shoes. He is a tiny peanut! But she makes up for it with a big personality. She is always talking to us, she is in a hurry to go places and always see and so what we are doing.
Patrick is the best big brother! He loves for sister to pounce on him, and he makes her laugh all the time! Patrick is way funnier than mom and dad! He will give her a ride up and down the hall on this little car.
Lauren at eight months. She crawls all over the place now. If I run downstairs to to switch the laundry and come back upstairs, she will be in a totally different part of the house. But she jabbers the whole time, so you can find her pretty easily. She is really close to pulling herself up to furniture or toys. It is SO difficult to changer her diaper! She tries to crawl off the changing pad as soon as you lay her down. But we wouldn't change our baby girl!
Snuggle time! Patrick often asks to snuggle with sister and then asks me to take a picture of them.
So, Lauren loves food. I try to feed her some baby food before we have dinner so that I can eat my dinner, but as soon as we sit down at the table, she can freaks out until I give her some of what we are eating. She only has one tooth, but she eats like she has a mouth full. She ate this entire piece of watermelon, without help. I have no idea how she stays underweight because she eats so much!
We went to the Greeley Stampede Days about an hour and a half north of us. It was a really hot day, but we enjoyed the animals and fair food.
I wish I had a better picture, but these are the pies I made for our Arapahoe County Fair. I was a little nervous to enter, and there was some good competition there, but my apple pie won third place and my cherry pie won the grand prize! I also entered my cross-stitch (the one of Christ), which also one first place! I was so glad I took the time to enter, and I am looking forward to entering some cookies and brownies next year!
